Stillveil brings together two ideas: the calm of stillness and the mystery of a veil. A quiet forest. Mist over water. The moment before a sound breaks the silence.
That feeling guides the world we want to create: tranquil darkness, thoughtful detail, and instruments that invite you to stay a little longer.
HOW IT BEGAN
Born from intuition.

Stillveil Technology was born from a desire to create sound through intuition: to follow a feeling, respond to what you hear, and let an idea take shape through exploration. It began with a question: what could we discover if making a sound felt as natural as imagining it?
Sometimes a sound begins as a texture, a movement, or an atmosphere you can feel before you can explain it. We wanted to build instruments that give those impressions somewhere to go, where a gesture can become a starting point and an unexpected result can become a new direction.
That desire continues to guide Stillveil: making space for instinct while offering the depth to refine what it reveals. An invitation to listen closely, trust your curiosity, and discover what happens next.

At Stillveil Technology, our mission is to evolve the world of sound by opening new paths to its creation. We build toward a future where an instrument can help you discover ideas you haven’t yet imagined, and give you the freedom to shape them into something unmistakably your own.
We believe the way you create influences what you create. Drawing a movement, shaping a frequency, or following an unexpected texture can lead somewhere a familiar workflow might never take you. Our aim is to make those moments of discovery a natural part of the creative process, with tools that invite experimentation and make complex sound shaping feel tangible.
We want to bring depth and immediacy together: room for detailed exploration, a clear connection between a gesture and its sound, and the freedom to follow an idea as it changes. From the first spark of a tone to the smallest detail of its character, our purpose is to help creators explore further, develop their own sonic language, and bring new sounds into the world.
